Raul Ramirez discovered Denia, the historic coastal city in the province of Alicante, Spain on the Costa Blanca. The area captivated him, so he acquired a villa overlooking the Mediterranean Sea to enjoy this breathtaking region. To share the essence of the Mediterranean Cava Spanish way to produce the “champagne”, he planted in the heart of Temecula Valley Wine Country the traditional white grapes of Cava production: Macabeo, Xarel.lo and Parellada. This Sparkling Wine is made via the metodo tradicional (Methode champanoise). This Gran Reserva was aging in the bottle on its lees for 5 years.
